As in previous years, at St Barnabas and St Katharine's Matson we will be joining with the Church of England's national Christmas theme. This year's theme is "The Joy of Christmas".
Advent & Christmas Services/Events
Saturday 29th November
10:30am: Make your own "Snowtivity" - A free family event for all ages. No booking needed!
Sunday 30th December
10:30am: Together for Communion - Gathering together for worship on the first Sunday of the church’s year. Children and young people’s groups running
in the halls, Registration from 10.15.
4:00pm: Christingle - Come and find out more about Jesus Light of the World
and support the work of the Children’s Society
Sunday 7th December
10:30am: All Age Worship for Advent
Sunday 14th December
10:30am: Children & Youth Nativity Play - Our children and young people will lead worship this morning in the Halls as they share their Nativity Play.
Sunday 21st December
10:30am: Together for Communion - Gathering together for worship on the fourth Sunday of Advent Sunday. Children and young people’s groups running
in the halls, Registration from 10.15.
6:00pm: Community Carols by Candlelight - Come and listen to the Christmas story told through carols, readings and anthems sung by the St Barnabas Community Choir.
Wednesday 24th December
4:30pm: Crib Service - come dressed up as your favourite nativity character or borrow a costume when you arrive!
11:00pm: First Communion of Christmas
Thursday 25th December
9:00am: Online Christmas Celebration (streamed on St Barnabas Facebook Page and YouTube)
10:30am: All In for Christmas Communion - Gathering together for worship on Christmas Day.
