Meet the Team
We are blessed to have a brilliant team of both ordained and lay leaders at St Barnabas, supported by an equally fantastic group of volunteers. There are more people to meet so watch this space!
Ordained Ministers

Vicar of St Barnabas & Priest-in-Charge of St Katharine's Matson
Revd Sarah Todd
I started my ministry here in April 2020 and am blessed to be part of all that God is doing in the wonderful city of Gloucester. Telling people about the good news of Jesus motivates all I do, as does being part of a team committed to building communities that are welcoming, intergenerational, trauma informed and biblically centred. Areas of special interest include supporting ministry and vocational development in the local church (every member ministry), liturgy and music in worship and the theology of trauma and safeguarding. I am married to Ian and we have four grown up children. Love a good musical jam and long walks with the odd gluten free cake and cuppa.

Assistant Priest
Revd Michael Bennett
Having been ordained as Deacon in 1967 and Priest in 1968, I served in County Durham, Salisbury, Hereford, Leicester and Wales. I came to Gloucester in 2009 beginning my time at St Barnabas in 2012. I married my wife Sheila in 1967 and we have 3 sons and 4 grandchildren. My hobbies are model railway, collecting stamps and I have a large collection of railway and naval books!

Curate
Revd Catherine Milsom
I have been married to Stephen since 2008 and we have a young son called George. Before ordination, I worked as an Optician where I loved getting to know and care for my patients. My ordination training was completed as a dispersed learner at Trinity College in Bristol, which meant I combined my theological studies with working in the parish context of the Greenway Benefice in Cheltenham. I am delighted to be joining the St Barnabas team for my curacy, where I will continue to learn more about parish ministry. I love liturgy and hymns and am really looking forward to spending time with people both within our church community and beyond.
