Despite some random snow over the last week (did anyone else get some!?), Spring is very much on its way. Although we remain in the period of Lent we are looking ahead to Holy Week and Easter, where we rejoice in Jesus' resurrection (and some of us may also be enjoying some chocolate eggs!).

Good Friday - 15th April
St Barnabas are pleased to have been invited to observe it together with our neighbours as the Church in Tuffley and it will run as follows with each element following the traditions of the respective denomination:
10.00am–12.00pm: Messy Easter (Church in Tuffley) | St Barnabas Halls
1.00pm: Communion Service | Grange Baptist Church, Grange Road
1.30pm–2.30pm: Walk of Witness in Tuffley | Starting at the Grange Baptist Church
3.00pm: The Celebration of the Passion of the Lord | English Martyrs (RC), Tuffley Lane
These events flow into one another and all are very welcome at all or some of them. Please support this opportunity to gather together ecumenically with our brothers and sisters on this important day.
There is an option of a C of E "Last hour" service at St Katharine's Matson (GL4 6DX). If you would like to attend this service and have mobility issues, let the office know and we will arrange for access.
St Barnabas church will also be open for quiet reflection on Good Friday from 10am -4pm.
